Article "Latin Club To Give Roman Saturnalia"
Subject
Description
This article discusses an event/performance where Eta Sigma Phi converted the Westhampton College tearoom into a "Roman banquet-hall". This was done because they were hosting a traditional "Saturnalia". A "Saturnalia" was an ancient Roman festival that honored Saturn and was typically held on December 17th-23rd. The article stated the guests would wear Roman costumes and they would eat Roman food. The food would be served by "slaves" and there would be traditional dance performance as entertainment. The room was going to be decorated "Roman style."
