The article discusses an informal dance organized to honor the new members of the Philogians Literary Society, fraternity on campus involved with Student Government,university debates, oratory and other literary events. The article states how Dean Keller "allowed" the girls to attend the dance. Also the meeting of the Philogians prior to the dance discussed the question, "Which section has more capably handled the social and economic problem of the Negro, North of South?"
