Title
Drawing of Native-American in Mazola Advertisement
The Tower 1919
Drawing on the bottom, right-hand corner
Description
This is an ad by the Corn Products Refining Co. as they are marketing their Mazola oil. The ad has a drawing of the product at the top-right corner with descriptions in order to persuade consumers to buy the product. The ad also includes a drawing of a Native-American woman holding a spear, while her whole body is replaced as a corn. The drawing of the Native-American woman holds a discriminatory practice by white members by drawing her as a commodity.
