This article from 1936 describes how Dr. Hundley Wiley, a sociology professor at the University of Shanghai, China, and alumni of University of Richmond, will speak in the Canon Memorial Chapel at the weekly Vesper service. Dr. Wiley is the son of a well known Baptist minister. Dr. Wiley has been a missionary for the past 15 years in China, and has been chosen as the representative from his state to the Interdenominational Missionary Conference in Florida. Dr. Wiley is a well known Christian leader.
