Details of the four drawn characters
Description
This is a drawing used as for the cover page for the "Sectional Clubs" portion of the yearbook. Four characters are drawn holding a "Sectional Clubs" sign. These four people are depicted as ethnically different and stereotypical manner based on their physical characteristics and clothes. The character on the far left represents an Asian woman, specifically a Japanese woman, who is wearing a kimono and traditional Japanese sandals. Her squinted eyes are drawn in a stereotypical manner. The next person on the right represents an African male wearing a traditional tribal outfit. The character's skin color is black. To right of the African character represents a Native American wearing traditional Native American clothes and headdress. The character on the far left can be identified as an eskimo based on the warm clothes and books.
