Something Wrong with the System
In this podcast produced by Cole Richard (‘21), retired professor Raymond Slaughter recounts his experience as the first black faculty member of the Robins Business School. Slaughter details how the faculty politics at the University of Richmond differed from other institutions, and how racist and otherwise discriminatory practices continue to manifest in faculty policies. The podcast also uses alumni oral histories to explore how the lack of a diverse faculty impacts minority students.
